Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in England since the late 1980s. In 1990 it was reported that she could be the lover of Hugh Grant. The time that Grant became the focus of attention for the media because of his global film's box office success, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in a plunged black Versace gown held together with gold safety pins. The actress gained immediate fame in the media. Hurley's partnership in the company of Estee Lauder, a cosmetics manufacturer, has been regarded as the pinnacle of her professional career. Hurley was commissioned by Estee Lauder as her first model at age 29. From 1995 onwards, she has been employed as a face for Estee Lauder's cosmetics like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington is her best well-known role in The Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me Both of which were huge hits. Many critics accused the track of encouraging homosexual relations however others suggested the song's sexually explicit lyrics were intended to attract male fantasies. However, the mix of titillation and polished melodicism helped I Kissed a Girl become a number one hit across multiple countries, generating the album sales of the Boys (2008). Hot N Cold, Perry's bouncy and sharply-tongued album with the second single that became a hit, also proved popular. The album Perry wrote herself, sold over three million copies.
